The LP ‘Ptakh’ by DakhaBrakha features 14 tracks, most of which were written before the full-scale war. The album cover was created by band member Marko Halanevych
Work on the album took place in Kyiv at Kaska Studio. The recording and mixing of most tracks were handled by Lesyk Omodada, a member of Pyrih i Batih and Tik Tu.
According to members of DakhaBrakha, the record brings together a wide range of moods — from ritual songs and minor lyricism to the humorous track ‘Yanky’, which became part of the album thanks to strong audience demand. The band selected ‘Trypilske techno’ as the focus track of the LP.
