Ukrainian brand Indposhiv presented the uniform of the national football team of Ukraine designed not for the game, in which the players will travel to the matches of Euro-2024
The set includes a blue bomber jacket and a white T-shirt with the logos of the Ukrainian Association of Football, as well as classic light gray pants.
According to the brand’s team, the order was one of the most challenging for Indposhiv because of the short timeline and lack of measurements of the players.
‘It was an easier task to sew suits for the president than for the players! The main challenge was the tight deadlines and the lack of measurements of our players. So we had to accumulate all our experience and create pattern sizes, knowing only height and weight’, Kateryna Vozianova, the founder of the brand, says.
Among the requirements for the uniforms were also comfort and fabrics that are almost wrinkle-free.
Indposhiv is a Kyiv-based brand founded in 2009 by Kateryna Vozianova, specializing in men’s bespoke clothing, that is, they sew tailored suits, jackets, pants and shirts.
In March 2024, Ukrainian director Mstyslav Chernov won an Oscar for his documentary ‘20 Days in Mariupol’. Especially for the award ceremony, Indposhiv made a classic black suit for Chernov. An important detail of the look that could not be noticed during the broadcast was the word ‘freedom’ written in yellow on a blue lining.
