The second single by Bah Bah Genesis explores women’s fear in a world of violence and distrust. The track will appear on the band’s debut full-length album, set for release on May 22
The seven-minute ‘Doom’ blends elements of progressive rock, jazz rock, alternative rock, and funk. Venus emerging from the Black Sea on the cover serves as a metaphor for femininity ‘shaped by trauma’.
The track features keys by The Soul Delusion frontman Oleksandr Dykyi, with a music video directed by the band’s bassist Valentyn Pereverza.
About Bah Bah Genesis
The band was formed in 2021, and its debut single, ‘Confession’, was released in January 2024. Since then, the group has performed at Pozhezha, Lesia Kvartyrynka, and Brudnyi Pes.
In 2024, the band was shortlisted in the Young Blood category at the Jäger Music Awards.
