Олександр та Марія Рудинські знялися в кліпі OTOY

OTOY has released a track and music video titled ‘Pasma’, starring the Rudynskyi couple in the lead roles

‘Pasma’ is OTOY’s new track about passion and tension in a relationship. The music video was directed by the rapper himself and stars actors Oleksandr Rudynskyi and Mariia Rudynska in the lead roles

In ‘Pasma’, Viacheslav Drofa explores the theme of dominance in relationships, as well as their various facets: passion, tension, harmony, and calm.

‘Dominance in relationships, in my view, is also part of the game — part of the dynamic. In a healthy relationship, all of this is discussed, roles can shift, and balance can be flexible. It’s about choice, mutual understanding, and desire’, OTOY says.

The track was produced by Ukrainian musician Rami Kallas, and the video was shot by cinematographer Roman Antiuk, who has previously collaborated with Daniel Okaro, PUMA, and the Special Purpose Unit ‘Typhoon’.

The Rudynskyi couple about shooting the video

Oleksandr: ‘What you’ll see in the video is something every relationship experiences. Because in any relationship, there are moments of shared joy — and moments of passionate tension. And that’s normal. Right now, Mariia and I don’t even have time to argue. We barely see each other — I’m currently filming, and she’s touring with ‘The Witch of Konotop’. So when we’re together, trust me, it’s definitely not the time to sort things out’.

Mariia: ‘I really liked Slava’s idea, his approach, and the way he was interested in this filming — how passionate he was. And first of all, I really liked the song. For me, relationships are like an emotional rollercoaster, and any period in a relationship is beautiful. You have to live through it and enjoy it. I can’t say we’re exactly like the couple in the video. But I also can’t say we’re a perfect couple that never argues. Things are different at different times — and I think that’s what makes it special’.

Previous releases by OTOY

In September 2024, the rapper released his album ‘8 Rozdumiv’ (‘8 Reflections’). Each track represents OTOY’s personal reflections on various aspects of life — life during war, moving between places, earning money, fear, love, the meaning of life, etc.

‘It’s about how we try to keep smiling while everything around us is filled with pain. It’s about trying to build everyday life in the midst of chaos and constant crisis. About the ability to love and make people fall in love with you, about successes and failures. It’s about all of us. It’s completely honest, alive, joyful, and painful at the same time — just like life itself’.

In April 2025, MONATIK and OTOY, together with the Street Culture collective, released the video ‘I.D.’ (‘Idem Dali…’ / ‘We Keep Moving…’) — a music video for MONATIK’s single of the same name, described as ‘a manifesto of street culture and urban sports’. The main characters of ‘I.D.’ are Street Culture athletes — including those who represent Ukraine in international competitions and at the Olympic Games.
