The band The Unsleeping has released an EP titled ‘Pyrizhok z liuboviu, zlistiu’

The Unsleeping‘s new release includes the singles ‘Ne spliu’, ‘Kholodno’ and ‘Zhyty’, as well as the new track ‘Perezhyvu’. They symbolize the four phases of a psycho-emotional state

‘Zhyty’ symbolizes realism, ‘Kholodno’ symbolizes the search for comfort, ‘Ne spliu’ symbolizes mental illness, and ‘Perezhyvu’ symbolizes stoicism with hints of self-mocking.

The latest single also symbolizes the quintessentially humdrum nature of life: ‘As long as you exist in the same way and without a hint of any nuance, time is running out. A face looks with its own eyes only in the morning when it brushes its teeth in front of the mirror, while also spitting at its own reflection’.

According to the band, the refrain, ‘I’ll survive, I’m living, it’s awesome’, is a falsely hopeful mantra and self-mocking: ‘You’ll survive anything, but can you really call that kind of existence a life?’.

There is also a music video for the track ‘Perezhyvu’ directed by Roman Volosevych, who previously directed the band’s music videos for the tracks ‘Ne spliu’, ‘Ptaha Fred’, ‘Zhyty’ and ‘Prypustym’.
