With the release of ‘True Bedroom Punk’ The Unsleeping starts a new stage of its work. Besides new genres, it features guest artists and vocals of other members — guitarists Nazar Slobodianyk and Ivan Smirnov
Bassist Dmitry Levchenko also created a ‘lyrical text part’ for the LP, and the last drum track was recorded by drummer Sashko Oliinyk and Nazar.
The Unsleeping’s alternative rock sound within the album was complemented by post-hardcore, indie, piano, as well as acoustic guitar tracks.
Guest verses for the release were recorded by rappers OTOY and Palindrom.
The visual concept of ‘True Bedroom Punk’ was developed by director Roman Volosevych, who shot The Unsleeping’s previous music videos. The album was completed with a hyper music video with fragments of five songs, 14 TikTok videos with lyrics and a 40-minute lyric video, which will be released on November 15.
