The showrunner of ‘Peaky Blinders’ presented caps to the Ukrainian unit of the same name

Steven Knight presented 30 Garrison Tailors caps to the Ukrainian National Guard soldiers from the ‘Peaky Blinders’ unit, which specializes in drone operations

‘It’s hard to believe but the author of the ‘Peaky Blinders’ series, Steven Knight, contacted us and sent us a present from England — Garrison Tailors caps’, Yaroslav Chyzhenko, a ‘Peaky Blinders’ officer, wrote on Facebook.

In May 2024, the ‘Peaky Blinders’ soldiers took part in the defense of the Kharkiv region during the russian offensive. At that time, the British BBC filmed a story about the unit’s fighters.

Together with the film crew, the soldiers of ‘Peaky Blinders’ sent several signed personal caps to Cillian Murphy. According to the National Guard, the actor kept one cap for himself, and he signed another cap and returned it to Ukraine.
