Featuring 11 tracks from ‘Turbo-robot’, Vitalii Symonenko, aka Symonenko, released the album on his own label, Disk_D. It includes music the producer performed live throughout 2025 at various festivals, including Brudnyi Pes and Laboratorium
According to Symonenko, most of the music on the album was performed using an Elektron Digitakt drum machine and modular synthesizers.
For ‘Turbo-robot’, he adapted his sets into a track-by-track format. Among the longplay’s tracks are a collaboration with Nigerian rapper 3kene and two edits of songs by Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfik. The latter are Bandcamp exclusives available for free download.
About Symonenko
Symonenko is the project of Kyiv-based electronic musician and DJ Vitalii Symonenko. He has performed sets at Kyiv clubs Closer and Metaculture, as well as at festivals such as Strichka and Brudnyi Pes. His work is defined by a techno-focused sound. He describes his sets as ‘an eight-channel DJ set built around original themes and samples, whose intersections give rise to the Symonenko live sound’.
In 2017, Symonenko independently released the EP ‘Night Walk’, and in 2020 his EP ‘Nech005’ came out on the NECHTO label.
The musician has also been featured on the compilations ‘Gasoline: Heritage’ and the charitable ‘TOGETHER FOR UKRAINE’.
