The video for ‘Novyny’ (News), created for the duo of Oleh Kadanov (Orkestr Che, Mannerheim Line) and Stas Kononov, was made by stop-motion animator Serhii Bublyk. It is the first track from the EP ‘Prana zi smakom polynu’ (Prana with a Taste of Wormwood), released by the musicians in December 2024
Bublyk began working on the music video immediately after the album’s release. For nearly a year, alongside his main job as a 3D animator in game development, he ‘cut out tiny pieces of paper, assembled them into shapes, moved them around, and photographed them for later animation’.
The animator says that, ‘according to his concept, all the metaphors and storylines are not revealed immediately, but unfold through repeated viewings’.
According to Kadanov and Kononov, ‘Novyny’ (News) portrays the image of a country on the brink of war.

The four-track EP was released on December 24, 2024. Its cover artwork was created by artist and illustrator Mitya Fenechkin.
‘Prana’ is the second collaborative EP by Oleh Kadanov and Stas Kononov. Their first EP, ‘Chy to tak, Chy to ni’, was released in August 2022. The music video for the title track was created by Mitya Fenechkin using the neural network Midjourney. The video is dedicated to Danylo Didyk, a 15-year-old civic activist who was killed in a terrorist attack during the Unity March in Kharkiv in February 2015.
