Italian brand DSQUARED2 has unveiled a collaborative collection with Ukrainian upcycling brand BETTTER by Julie Pelipas. Together, they created pieces that became part of DSQUARED2’s main fall–winter collection
The collaboration includes heeled denim boots — two variations of the silhouette were made using recycled classic tuxedo trousers and vintage jeans — as well as military-style blazers with cut-out details and shoulder tabs, multi-layer raw-edge jeans, and beige chino suits (jackets and skirts tailored from chino trousers).
The collection is also complemented by patchwork-style hoodies, corduroy shirts with shoulder patch overlays, half-and-half cargo pants crafted from camouflage and pink corduroy trousers. The accessories include half-and-half baseball caps.
You can buy pieces from the collection on the DSQUARED2 website.
About other BETTTER collaborations
In July 2024, BETTTER and FILA unveiled their collaborative clothing collection ‘Play Smart’, inspired by FILA’s tennis heritage.
For the collaboration, BETTTER created dresses made from upcycled FILA tracksuits, as well as upcycled T-shirts, regular and double polo shirts, rashguard track jackets, blazers and bomber jackets, several models of trousers, and shorts.
