Hyphen Dash виступлять на Open'er

Ukrainian band Hyphen Dash will perform at the Open’er festival in Poland

Hyphen Dash have joined the lineup of one of Europe’s biggest festivals — Open’er. The event will traditionally take place from July 1–4 at the Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport, featuring a lineup that includes Florence + The Machine, The xx, Calvin Harris, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Cure, Clipse, and others

Hyphen Dash believe that their invitation to the festival was influenced by their performance at the ESNS showcase festival in January 2026. One of the festival’s main goals is to promote emerging European artists.

In addition, ESNS runs the European Talent Exchange program to support and promote musicians, and Open’er is part of this initiative.

In a comment for DTF Magazine, the band says they will perform at Open’er with an updated lineup and new material — Myshko Birchenko, Yevhen Puhachov, and Polina Maiboroda will be joined by keyboardist Dmytro Startsev.

As a quartet, Hyphen Dash have already recorded the album ‘I Was Afraid of Stone Rooms’, which will be released on April 24, and are currently working on another LP planned for late 2026. The band will perform music from these two releases in Gdynia.

‘We already love this music and can’t wait to share it with you’, the band adds.

Hyphen Dash will perform at Open’er on July 3 at the Flow Stage. Tickets are available on the festival’s website.

About Hyphen Dash

In October 2025, the band released the album ‘LATE’ — a 16-track record written over the course of six years across several lineups.

According to the band’s frontman Myshko Birchenko, the tracks from the album ‘matured in hearts, pockets, shelves, and studios’ for so long that there were moments when they wanted to delete everything and start over from scratch: ‘‘LATE’ is an album loved with all our hearts and, at the same time, hated. So many things stood in the way of this music being released ‘on time’, and at some point you start thinking, ‘It’s too late — LATE!’ You want to delete everything and start from scratch. But then another thought follows: maybe it’s not so irrelevant after all? Maybe now is exactly the right time?’

In January 2026, Hyphen Dash presented the album in the Netherlands (ESNS), Germany, Spain, and Hungary.

In April, Hyphen Dash won the ‘Artist of the Year’ award at the Jäger Music Awards.
