Обкладинка релізу Voin Oruwu Identify Randomer RMX

British producer Randomer has released a remix of the track by Voin Oruwu

British DJ and producer Randomer presented Identify Remix — remix of the single by Ukrainian electronic musician Voin Oruwu. Randomer worked on the remix before the full-scale war started, and finished it on February 23, 2022. This is a charity release in support of Ukrainians

‘In late 2021, I was asked to create my version of Kyiv’s iconic anthem — Identify by producer Voin Oruwu. I created most of this track in Kyiv, where I finished the remix on February 23, 2022, — Randomer tells us. — The next morning, my partner and I woke up to the sound of russian bombs, signaling the start of a full-scale war. Until now, for various reasons, the remix has not been released’.

You can listen to and buy the remix on Bandcamp. All proceeds from the sale of the remix will be donated to the Ukrainian volunteer group AIDx10, which covers the needs of the military, in particular military musicians, and to UNICEF.

The original single Identify was released in 2020 on the compilation album Intermission, dedicated to the first anniversary of Kyiv-based label Standard Deviation. The album was supposed to ‘reflect the current state of the Ukrainian electronic music scene’.

In February, Brazilian electronic music producer, co-founder of the Pornceptual project and founder of the queer label VRAAA Projekt Gestalten released a remix of the song A Teper Use Inakshe by Ukrainian band Aqua Vita.

The producer was preparing the remix for his performance at Boiler Room in Ukraine on the eve of the full-scale invasion, but managed to finish and play it only in February 2023, at an event in club on Kyrylivska.

The Strategic Media Support Program project will implement the Lviv Media Forum with the financial support of People in Need (PIN) and Pioneer Foundation.
