PUMA Ukraine and INTERTOP, which represents The North Face, Vans, and Napapijri in Ukraine, reported that as a result of a massive shelling of Kyiv on the night of August 5, the Russians completely destroyed their product warehouses. They were located at the DENKA LOGISTICS hub in the village of Chaiky near Kyiv. No employees from either company were injured
PUMA clarified that ‘in the coming weeks and, likely, months, there may be a shortage of certain PUMA products in Ukraine’, but they are already working on restoring supplies.

At the same time, INTERTOP stated that DENKA LOGISTICS was one of the company’s key logistics facilities, having operated seamlessly since 2009.
‘The scale of the destruction is enormous. Along with the warehouse, we lost a significant portion of our inventory, logistics infrastructure, and equipment… We are currently assessing the consequences of the attack and reorganizing all of our operations’, the company said.

On the night of August 5, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Kyiv and the region were attacked by 24 ballistic missiles, 4 Zircon/Oniks-type missiles, and another 115 drones, a significant number of which were jet-powered.
As of 10 a.m., Zelenskyy also reported that 17 people were killed, including one person in Kyiv and 14 in Kyiv Oblast. At least 44 other people were injured.
