MAAT independently released the four-track ‘Amber Motion’ EP. According to the producer and co-founder of Brudnyi Pes, the record was created ‘in one breath as an analog LIVE set’, which gives the release a seamless, cohesive sound
Genre-wise, ‘Amber Motion’ blends acid, house, and techno. ‘This EP is about movement, light, the body, and a gradual descent into a club state. But its overall mood is bright, soft, and amber-colored — like the light leak on the cover’, the producer says.

The EP opens with ‘Wake Up’, featuring the sound of ocean waves, which ‘transports the listener beyond their own mental world’.
‘This is the first step into the world of the record — a transition from a dreamlike state to the seashore, to the air, and the warm light of the morning’, MAAT says.
‘Golden Floor’ moves into a ‘warmer’ dance space, while its title evokes a dancefloor bathed in amber light: ‘A house feel, a soft rolling bass groove, breakbeat inserts, and a warm space for movement’.
In ‘Acid Bloom’, the producer explores the acid side of the release. ‘Here, the acid machine doesn’t sound like a dark rave, but rather like an electronic form that injects an organic feel and drives the progression forward’, he explains.
MAAT describes ‘Surface Return’, which closes the EP, as ‘a slow return to the surface’:
‘After the awakening, the dancefloor, and the acid peak, this track gives you the feeling of slowly resurfacing — returning to the state in which the record began’.
On MAAT’s previous releases
In the autumn of 2025, MAAT released the ‘NOISEFIELD’ EP on the independent Kyiv label Woohaa!. Throughout this groove-driven record, the producer seamlessly blends noise soundscapes with live instruments.

Among the instruments MAAT used on the EP are brass instruments — featured, for example, on the opening track ‘9 April’ — as well as a bass guitar that once belonged to Slipknot bassist Paul Gray. ‘In the closing track, every element is unique and distinctive’, the label says.
