Обкладинка релізу берлінського колективу TYME

Berlin-based collective TYME presented a charity release in support of Ukrainians

28 musicians from different countries took part in the recording of On The Silver Shore, TYME’s first album. All profits from the sales of the album will be donated to the Kyiv Pride and Behind Blue Eyes initiatives

About the release

The title On The Silver Shore refers to the first line of the poem Kyiv by Mykola Vinhranovsky.

‘Inspired by the timeless imagery of Vinhranovsky’s poetry, the album serves as a lyrical gateway into the soulful landscapes and enduring narratives of Ukrainian culture, — the release description reads. — It invites listeners to immerse themselves in a melodic odyssey that echoes the essence of the poet’s profound verse. With this collection, we want to not only honor the cultural richness of the nation, but also show our solidarity and support’.

On The Silver Shore was released on the eponymous label TYME. It includes 24 tracks covering a wide range of electronic music genres — drone, experimental, ambient, hypnotic and groovy techno.

The compilation album features Schacke, Shackleton, Cressida, Nastya Vogan, Pavel Milyakov, Yan Cook, Splinter (UA) & Louwave, Slone, Poly Chain and KOLOAH.

On The Silver Shore is available for purchase on Bandcamp.
