Cxema has announced a new traveling showcase from its Backstage series, set to take place in Amsterdam on September 19. The event will also be a collaboration with the Amsterdam-based party series MOVA, while Cxema Backstage will simultaneously become the first party ever to take place within MOVA’s own venue. Cxema founder Slava Lepsheiev speaks to DTF Magazine in a short interview about the upcoming event
According to Slava, the proposal for the collaboration came from MOVA co-founder Jelle Stoffels, who “lived in Kyiv for some time, attended Cxema events and knows the Kyiv scene well.”
The lineup features performances by seven artists across two stages: Nastya Vogan, Stanislav Tolkachev, Nastya Muravyova, Auua and Slava Lepsheiev himself, as well as Tarra and Kyoso, the electronic project of Jelle Stoffels.

One of the key features of the event will be its location: MOVA is known for hosting parties in various secret venues. However, according to Lepsheiev, the team has also been working on its own space, and Cxema Backstage will become the first event to take place at the new venue.
‘It’s a former factory that gives MOVA complete freedom to create the ideal environment for a party’, Slava says.
Applications to receive an invitation to the party can be submitted via the link.
The team is already planning the next Cxema Backstage showcase in Warsaw. At the same time, no events in Kyiv are currently planned.
Since its inception, Cxema showcases have taken place in Kyiv, Kharkiv, New York, Berlin, Lviv, Warsaw, Leipzig, and Vilnius.
