14-year-old Ukrainian karting driver Oleksandr Bondarev has joined the racing academy of the Formula 1 team Williams Racing. At the end of July, the Ukrainian became the European Karting Champion in the OK Junior category

At just 14 years old, he already has several impressive achievements to his name, including the 2023 FIA-CIK European OKJ Championship. Bondarev is a 3-time Ukrainian karting champion and bronze medalist of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy-2021 tournament for 12-14 years old drivers.
In May 2022, the then 13-year-old Ukrainian was involved in a car accident, after which he recovered for several months.
