Offline space readellion competed to win in the Interior Architecture category, where it beat out four other finalists. The Building Of The Year award is presented annually by ArchDaily, one of the most influential architectural media in the world
The winners were chosen among four thousand entries in 15 categories by online voting. Five contestants competed in the finals in each section.
In the Interior Architecture section, readellion competed against the LES eventspace in Berlin, an art space in Madrid, the Baftar dermatology clinic in Tehran and the 10K House apartments in Madrid.
‘From now on, call us only ‘award-winning space’ because readellion design has won the international top Building Of The Year 2024 award in the Interior Architecture category. As a reminder, this award was actually earned (based on our ingenious design brief) by the world’s best prototyp architects, with whom we have been lucky enough to work and be friends’, the bookstore team wrote on Instagram.

Kyiv offline bookstore readellion opened in September 2023. The bookstore team together with the prototype architectural bureau worked on the design. We told you more about the design and concept of the space in our article.

In addition to book sales, the space also hosts presentations of local zines and in-house projects, design workshops with friendly studios or individual designers, and individual meetings.
