Скелелахний фестиваль Зачіпка на Франківщині

The climbing festival Stantsiia will take place in Ukraine’s Ivano-Frankivsk region

The festival, which will take place from 31 July to 2 August in the village of Bubnyshche, is organised by the Ivano-Frankivsk climbing gym Zachipka and the sports community NORT.IF. The event will be held at the Dovbush Rocks, combining climbing activities with lectures and live performances by artists

In a comment to DTF Magazine, the Stantsiia team said that the idea for the climbing festival first emerged in 2024, when they organised a similar event for friends.

The event inspired the opening of the Zachipka climbing gym in Ivano-Frankivsk, and in the summer of 2025 the team organised its first climbing camp.

As one of their sources of inspiration, the team highlights the ArtPole music and art festival, which was held in the village of Unizh on the banks of the Dniester River until 2013. Within the climbing community, they draw inspiration from Pyshchyk, held on the rocks in Yamelnysia, and the Stoned Climbers Camp, a collaboration with which Stantsiia has already teased.

According to the team, the Dovbush Rocks were chosen as ‘the largest crag with everything needed for a comfortable stay’ and featuring approximately 200 climbing routes.

Throughout the camp, climbing routes of various difficulty levels, including options for beginners, will be available on-site, alongside instructor support. Necessary gear will also be available for rent or pickup at the location.

‘We’ve teamed up to build an event for anyone who’s been wanting to try rock climbing but kept hesitating. For anyone who has never set foot on real rocks or an indoor wall. And for those who just want to spend a killer weekend surrounded by great people’, the organizers say.

About the music lineup

Stantsiia will feature two stages: Live Stage, dedicated to krautrock, psychedelia and rock ’n’ roll, and Downset Stage, focused on ambient and downtempo music.

According to the team, they wanted to put together a lineup that would complement the festival’s main activity — climbing — rather than overshadow it:

‘We wanted to make sure music didn’t overshadow the event, but instead fit naturally into the backdrop of the rock-climbing area and the overall camp experience. That’s why we invited those whose music has deeply resonated with us over the years, as well as people who are part of our climbing community or closely share its value’.

Among the artists performing on Live Stage are ONISUKA TIGER, Zlypni, Drunk Dude and Logos. Meanwhile, the electronic stage will feature sets from Oles, Maks Yos, Ochii, veryval, Sasha Ushenko, WiELOROMAN, mindexpansion.cd, Roma Zovsimni and Zhvavo, a member of Mirage Camp.

Alongside musical performances and rock climbing, the event will feature lectures on mountaineering, mountain first aid, and ethnography by the Hory Bez Kom (Mountains Without Commas) rescue group, Oleksii Tryhubyak from the Mountaineering and Climbing Federation of Ukraine, and Khrystyna Bunii from Carpathian Cult. Additionally, Maks Yosypenko from the Detali formation will host a sound art workshop.

Tickets for Stantsiia, as well as seats on the shuttle service, can be purchased and reserved via Zachipka’s Instagram account.
