Ukrainian brand KSENIASCHNAIDER and adidas Originals showed a joint collection of clothes and shoes. ‘The Kyiv-based brand opens up a new perspective on signature adidas looks’, adidas said in a press release
The collection is anchored by a host of garments which ‘blend the KSENIASCHNAIDER’s signature aesthetic with adidas’ instantly recognizable brand codes’.
The collaboration features a clothing line made of denim: jeans with a double belt, jackets, dresses and shirts with frayed edges and voluminous cuts. The other part of the collection was a combination of classic adidas silhouettes and KSENIASCHNAIDER’s creative vision: adiColor tracksuits, corsets, and dresses are reworked in a patchwork finish.
The clothing collection will be complemented by four models of sneakers, updated by KSENIASCHNAIDER — adi2000, Forum Mid and two variations of Superstar sneakers.
For the line of accessories from the collaboration, KSENIASCHNAIDER ‘took a black denim fabric base and rework the material into unexpected silhouettes, which are then finished off with fluorescent yellow Soccer cleat studs’.
The non-obvious item was a black bag with KSENIASCHNAIDER and adidas Originals logos.
The adidas Originals x KSENIASCHNAIDER collection launches on July 1. You will be able to buy items on the websites of adidas and KSENIASCHNAIDER, as well as in selected adidas stores.
In March, KSENIASCHNAIDER released a collaboration with the American sustainable denim brand DL1961. The collection includes four new models of jeans, two models of shorts, as well as tops and skirts.
