Together with the Ukrainian company RINARO ISODYNAMICS, high-end audio brand Meze Audio has presented the ARTA headphones. Specially for them, RINARO has developed a new high-impedance MZ5 HΩ driver
According to the Meze team, the model delivers a sound presentation similar to full-scale audio systems and offers ‘the most immersive sonic experience Meze has ever created’.
‘The soundstage expands naturally beyond the confines of the ear, projecting music around you with the organic spaciousness of an acoustically treated listening room. Bass carries physical weight, and instruments occupy real positions within a vivid, three-dimensional stage. The result is not just something you hear, it’s something you inhabit’, the manufacturer adds.
RINARO and Meze have collaborated before — the two brands previously worked together on the Romanian manufacturer’s Elite, Liric, and Empyrean headphone models.

About RINARO’s technologies in headphones
The design of the MZ5 HΩ driver allows it to operate in a high-voltage, low-current mode, unlike other solutions based on the same principles.
Less current means less heat and stress on the diaphragm, allowing ARTA to deliver ultra-low distortion.
The RINARO diaphragm, made of a ‘low-mass composite material’, is also expected to resist thermal drift and contribute to the operational stability of the ARTA headphones.
About the design of the ARTA headphones
The earcups of the ARTA headphones are covered with specially designed, angled acoustic plates that physically protect the driver while preserving sound quality.

The skeletal frame of the headphones is made of metal and leather, while the headband is crafted from carbon fiber. The ARTA headphones are hand-assembled at Meze’s production facility in Romania and weigh 495 grams. They are priced at $6,000.
