Vera Logdanidi випустила кліп KEEP BREATHING

Vera Logdanidi has released a music video for the track ‘KEEP BREATHING’ — it was filmed during Rhythm Büro in Kyiv

The video for Vera Logdanidi’s ‘KEEP BREATHING’ was directed by Kyiv-based filmmaker and musician Yura Shevchenko aka NEONKNIGHT. The track is part of Vera Logdanidi’s debut album, ‘To All That We Lose And All We Fight For’, which the electronic producer released on the Rhythm Büro label in 2025

About the story behind the music video

The video was initiated by Shevchenko himself. According to the producer, he chose the track and proposed the idea for its visualisation: ‘There were no long discussions or choices between several tracks. On the contrary, I was curious to see what he heard in it and how he envisioned it visually’.

‘The idea for the video came to me within the first few minutes of listening. ‘KEEP BREATHING’ has this distinctive, soft, pulsating rhythm that seems to immerse you deeper and deeper into the darkness. That was the feeling I wanted to recreate — this state of being both frightening and incredibly alluring at the same time’, NEONKNIGHT adds.

The music video for ‘KEEP BREATHING’ comes out six years after Vera Logdanidi’s first music video for the track ‘VPlanet’. The electronic producer explains that she does not aim to regularly create visuals for her work:

‘For me, this isn’t something mandatory that has to accompany every release. I wanted it to happen naturally — when there’s an idea, the right person, and the desire to bring it to life’.

About the main character and aesthetics

The video’s main character is a woman whom the director compares to Marla from ‘Fight Club’: ‘Open, uninhibited, somewhat vulgar and provocative, yet magnetic at the same time, she draws the viewer deeper and deeper into the video’s underground world at night’.

The space of the Rhythm Büro party, particularly the lighting, movement, and atmosphere of the event, also became part of the work’s visual language. As NEONKNIGHT explains, he had wanted to work with the collective for a long time because he shares their approach:

‘The lighting, visuals, locations — everything is always done with taste and a subtle sense of aesthetics. So when Vera released the album, I immediately knew I wanted to make a music video for her. We found common ground very quickly and agreed on the mood the work should have, and the rest, as they say, is history’.

Vera Logdanidi herself also became a heroine of ‘KEEP BREATHING’: the producer appears in the final frame behind the decks — it is with this shot that the video ‘returns from the character to the track’s creator’.

The release of ‘KEEP BREATHING’ marks a ‘new chapter’ in the album’s story: Rhythm Büro will later release a remix album, ‘All That We Lose And All We Fight For’, while the names of the featured artists and the release date will be announced later.
