Ukraine launched a platform to support local brands

The PALIANYTSIA platform brought together more than 30 Ukrainian brands working under war conditions and sending clothes across Ukraine and abroad. According to the initiators of the project, their goal is «to introduce Ukrainian fashion to the world, help the fashion business and support the country’s economy»

Among the brands represented on the platform are KSENIASCHNAIDER, Act.1, pustovit, O(FourFour), Pilsok, Dzhus, JEU, TOTE, Nebesite, U-R-SO and Norba. The list will be constantly updated.

Between the brands, the site posted links to donations for the Ukrainian army and foundations, including the accounts of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, «Come Back Alive» and «Army SOS».

Some brands from PALIANYTSIA are engaged in sewing ammunition for the Ukrainian army or transferring funds for humanitarian support to the people of Ukraine in addition to their main work.

«We have already shown the world what talented designers live in our country. Now it is time to support the Ukrainian fashion business and at the same time the Ukrainian economy. By buying the products of Ukrainian brands you help people to keep their jobs and brands to pay taxes to the state budget, which will ensure the payment of pensions and help the most vulnerable segments of society during the war», the project team says.

Owners of Ukrainian brands, who wish to join the project, can send a Direct message on Instagram to Masha or Liza from the team.

In April, fashion expert Jen Sidary launched ANGELS FOR FASHION, an online platform to support the Ukrainian fashion industry at war. There they gathered more than 30 Ukrainian designers and brands, including Valery Kovalska, Ivan Frolov, Riot Division, AATSU, Bobkova, Have A Rest, Gunia Project and FINCH.
