Дебютний альбом Начувайся гурту HLIBOROB

Ukrainian punk blues band HLIBOROB released their debut album

The debut full-length album ‘Nachuvaisia’ by HLIBOROB features eight tracks. The release is divided into two parts — romantic and apocalyptic. According to the band, these are the two experiences its members are currently living through

‘Nachuvaisia’ captures the contrast of coming of age during wartime, when war intertwines with the ‘ordinary problems of youth’. HLIBOROB portray the duality of the world as ‘an escape from youth amid brutalism and a black-and-white universe filled with vivid flashes of life’.

‘Through the experience of creating this album, we learned how to connect with one another, both personally and musically. We channeled all our formative experiences into the lyrics and finally released what we’ve been working toward all these years’, the band’s frontman, Illia Miroshnyk, says.

The central composition of ‘Nachuvaisia’ is the album’s title track, described as ‘a chaotic, almost apocalyptic realization of life’s resilience’. It tells the story of cities that refuse to stop, even when scarred by war:

‘At the heart of the song is the contrast between bleak industrialism and resilience — where flowers grow through concrete and playgrounds fill with laughter beside the ruins’.
