KSENIASCHNAIDER and adidas Originals presented a collaborative campaign for the Superstar and Samba sneakers from the brands’ second collection, released in early March. For the campaign, Ukrainian creator Liza Litovka (Floweirdy) made compositions using flowers, vegetables and plastics
According to Liza, her campaign is ‘about love and care for all living things’, and the sneakers reminded her of flower beds, spring soil and flowers on them.

‘I think everyone can blossom in such sneakers, so in this work I was inspired by grandmothers’ spring windowsills with seedlings, which they care for with great love and care, often reusing plastic. It’s incredibly beautiful’.
For the campaign, she bought the flowers in a flower shop and grew the beets.
Floweirdy photographed the Samba 2.0 sneakers with a striped upper in patchwork style with a bouquet of flowers and radishes. In other photos, the shoes are hidden in a mini greenhouse made of strawberry boxes, which, as noted in the press release, can often be found on the balconies of Ukrainians.
The creator placed black Superzirka sneakers with colored details in a pot and complemented them with daffodils, in another photo she paired them with a pumpkin with stickers, and in another one — with a plastic bottle and beets.

The first KSENIASCHNAIDER x adidas Originals collection, presented in June 2023, features iconic elements and silhouettes of both brands. In particular, the dress, top and tracksuit were created from adidas fabric remnants using patchwork techniques. It also includes reinterpreted variations of the Superstar, Forum Mid and adi2000 sneakers.
How the KSENIASCHNAIDER x adidas Originals collection was created
The second KSENIASCHNAIDER x adidas Originals clothing and footwear collection was released in early March on the adidas Originals global website, and will be available in Ukraine from May.
It includes the brand’s signature patchwork denim suits, denim suits in yellow and blue, knitted dresses and cardigans with multicolored stripes, the design of which duplicates the look of the collaborative adidas Samba sneakers.
