In August this year the STILLALIVE brand, known for customizing Nike and Jordan sneakers, released two models of sneakers: STUGNA, inspired by the military aesthetic, and GHOST, created in honor of the «Ghost of Kyiv». Now STILLALIVE has presented a third sneaker model, the CANYON RANGER, this time with a Wild West theme
«The idea for this project has been nurtured for a very long time and has migrated from a custom to a complete pair of STILLALIVE sneakers, — brand founder Myroslav Fareniuk told DTF Magazine in a commentary. — The inspiration came from traveling on a motorcycle and watching old videotape movies like “Easy Rider”, “Beyond the Law” and others, as well as motorcycle culture and the Wild West in general».
Brown and beige CANYON RANGER were made entirely by hand, from Italian suede with a moisture-proof impregnation and leather of Ukrainian production.
The sneakers were decorated with an eagle patch on the sides and a STILLALIVE label on the tongue. The model was also supplemented with a double orthopedic insole. The sneakers are sold in a handmade wooden box and with additional accessories from the brand.
The CANYON RANGER sneakers are available for pre-order and are made on a first-come, first-served basis. It takes approximately one week to a month to fulfill the order. The price is $250.
Myroslav Fareniuk’s STILLALIVE project has been customizing Nike and Jordan apparel and sneakers for seven years.
The Ukrainian brand has already distinguished itself abroad: in 2018, rapper Tyga starred in a customized Nike Air Force 1 by Fareniuk in a photo shoot for Billboard magazine, and in 2019, the department store Barneys Tokyo hosted an exhibition of customized STILLALIVE sneakers.
